Astribot adds RMB 5B of valuation in three months with a RMB 1B raise
Shenzhen cable-driven robot maker Astribot closed ~RMB 1B (~$140M) at RMB 15B (~$2.1B), led by Shenzhen Investment Holdings’ 投控东海. Fourth round in ~6 months. Orders and 10k-unit capacity are company claims.
Astribot (星尘智能), the Shenzhen maker of cable-driven AI robots, says it has closed a new round of about RMB 1B (~US$140M) at a RMB 15B (~US$2.1B) valuation. It is the company’s fourth raise in about six months, and it lands three months after a B round of more than RMB 1B.[1]
The round was announced on 13 Oct 2026 and led by 投控东海, part of state-owned Shenzhen Investment Holdings. Hongtai Fund, Ninghai Xingtaihe Fund (managed by Guanghua Sunshine) and Shanheng Capital joined, and existing investor Xianmu followed on. Astribot says the money goes to models, hiring, commercialisation and production capacity.[1]
The traction it cites is all company-reported. It opened thousand-unit orders for its S series in Sep 2025 and began shipping the T1 humanoid in Jun 2026 from RMB 89,900 (~US$12,600). It also claims combined S and T capacity “at the 10,000-unit level”. Its Robot MART retail kiosks have been rolled out in six cities, including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, since Nov 2025, and home products are in development.[1]
