Europe's Helsing is priced at **$18B** after a **$1.8B** Series E (**Confirmed**, Helsing release, 13 Jul 2026). Germany's first call-off is **4,300 HX-2** AI strike drones, about **€270M** (**Confirmed**, ESUT citing BAAINBw, 5 Mar 2026).

**Who runs it (Reported / company):** Co-CEO Gundbert Scherf was a special adviser at Germany's defence ministry (\~2014–16, Reported). Prima Materia put about **€100M** into the Series A (**Confirmed**).

**Hit-rate evidence splits on purpose:** Helsing says **39 of 41** test strikes succeeded across four 2026 trials (**company claim**, via ESUT). A Politico Europe tally of Ukrainian ministry data counted **5 hits in 14** (**Reported**); Helsing says that sample is too small.
